When it comes to e-commerce email marketing, there is one tip that can ring true for a vast majority of brands.
And quite frankly, it’s a simple tip that can be extremely hard to execute.
Why? Because most people think that everything that have to say is critically important and every possible detail needs to get included in an email.
The reality though is that when consuming emails, the average consumer skims and doesn’t read. If they read an entire block of copy more than 2 sentences you’re lucky.
So, the simple tip is that brevity and planning for scanning is important. I’ll touch on this a bit more in the short video below.
